NSW transmission system operator TransGrid's rebuilding of the Coffs Harbour to Port Macquarie power line has destroyed any justification for building new diesel-fired peaking capacity at Herons Creek, near Kew on NSW's Mid North Coast, according to Greens NSW MP John Kaye.
